Bonded Seals are available from a variety of sources, including the original Dowty Bonded Seal manufacturing, which was acquired by Trelleborg Sealing Solutions. Please note that a quotation for the supply of bonded seals, whilst compliant to the required specifications and quality standards, might not be sourced from the original manufacturer. The bonded seal is a metal washer with a vulcanised rubber insert for use in high-pressure applications where other means of sealing are unsuitable. Bonded seals are now available in self centralising form, which eliminates seal offset and makes for easier installation.
